• 2025 – Present (The Twin-Turbo Powerhouse): For 2025, the Armada dropped the V8 for an all-new 3.5L Twin-Turbo V6. Don't let the cylinder count fool you—this engine produces 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It maintains the 8,500 lb capacity but offers significantly more low-end torque for pulling heavy trailers up steep grades.

• 2017 – 2024 (The V8 Endurance): The previous generation uses the legendary 5.6L Endurance V8. Rated for 8,500 lbs, this engine is known for its reliability and smooth power delivery. If you own one of these, you have a tried-and-true tow vehicle that pairs perfectly with heavy fiberglass trailers.

Many Armada trims (SL, Platinum, etc.) come equipped with a rear Auto-Leveling Air Suspension.
