RV Leak Repair & Testing

Water is Your RV's Worst Enemy.

It starts as a small drip or a soft spot on the floor. By the time you see the water stain on your ceiling, the damage inside the wall may already be extensive. Water intrusion is the #1 cause of RV depreciation and structural failure.

At Leisure Days RV Group, we take a proactive approach to leak detection. We don't just patch holes; we use advanced technology to find the breaches you can't see, ensuring your rig stays dry and rot-free.

Our Leak Services

The "Sealtech" Pressurized Leak Test Visual inspections miss 80% of leaks. We use the Sealtech Rain System (or equivalent positive pressure testing) to find the truth.

  • How it Works: We draw fresh air into the RV to create a positive interior pressure.

  • The Test: We spray the exterior of the RV with a soapy solution.

  • The Result: Any breach in the seal—no matter how microscopic—will create visible bubbles on the outside of the RV. This pinpoints the exact location of the leak without guessing.

Seal Maintenance & Resealing

RV manufacturers recommend inspecting your seals every 90 days.

  • Roof Reseals: Cleaning and applying self-leveling lap sealant to roof vents, skylights, and antennas.

  • Window & Trim: Removing old, cracked silicone and replacing it with high-grade, non-sag RV sealants (like Geocel or Proflex) on windows, doors, and belt rails.

  • Slide-Out Seals: Replacing torn or stiff wiper seals that allow water to enter when the slide is retracted.

Water Damage & Rot Repair

If a leak has gone undetected for too long, we can fix the aftermath.

  • Floor Repair: Replacing soft, rotted subflooring and installing new vinyl or carpet.

  • Wall Reconstruction: Removing moldy insulation and paneling to restore the structural integrity of your walls.

  • Mold Remediation: Treating affected areas to ensure the air quality in your camper is safe for your family.

Why Do RVs Leak?

RVs are subjected to hurricane-force winds and earthquake-level vibrations every time you drive down the highway. This flexing causes the factory sealants to crack and separate over time. A leak is not a matter of "if," but "when." Regular testing is the only way to catch it early.
