RV Appearance Protection FAQ
Your Questions, Answered.
Considering protecting your new RV but have a few questions? Here are the most common inquiries we receive about our Exterior and Interior protection packages.
Q: Do I really never have to wax my RV again?
A: Yes, that is correct. Our exterior protection chemically bonds to the gel coat or paint of your RV, creating a durable barrier that replaces the need for wax. You simply wash the unit with mild soap and water to remove dirt. This saves you hours of labor every season.
Q: What if I get a stain that won't come out?
A: That is the power of the warranty. If you spill something on your protected upholstery and cannot remove it using standard cleaning methods, we will send a professional to remove the stain. If the stain cannot be removed, we will replace the affected fabric or leather.
Q: Does this cover physical damage like scratches or dents?
A: No. Appearance Protection is designed to prevent environmental damage (fading, oxidation, bird droppings, tree sap) and accidental interior stains. Physical collision damage (like backing into a tree or hail damage) is covered by your primary RV Insurance policy.
Q: Is the protection transferable if I sell the RV?
A: Yes! If you decide to sell your RV privately, the remaining warranty coverage can usually be transferred to the new owner. This is a massive selling feature that increases your resale value.
Q: Can I just apply a store-bought product myself?
A: Store-bought waxes and sprays are "topical"—they sit on top of the surface and wash off after a few months. Our dealership-applied protection is a professional-grade chemical that cross-links with the surface material for long-term durability. Furthermore, DIY products do not come with a replacement warranty if they fail.
Q: Is it worth putting on a Used RV?
A: Absolutely. While we can't reverse existing damage, applying protection to a used unit stops further degradation in its tracks. It locks in the current condition and prevents the "chalky" look from getting worse.
